An advent fic project from Kii and Pie, what's not to like? Kii's writing is amazing and Pie's art is beautiful and Bond gives Q presents and pretends like he doesn't know all of Q's favourite stuff and...just read it. You won't regret it. the one where Bond got shot in the eye and acquired an eyepatch. I love this fic because it depicts a long-term relationship about 20 years into it and i'm a sucker for that sort of thing.

I've always thought that Bond showed many characteristics of being asexual, and I was swoony beyond belief that someone wrote a fic for it. Entire is brilliant, and the knowledge and sensitivity about an asexual character is spot on. I was very pleased.

There aren't many fics containing a first time for Bond, especially this well written. It's short, but I loved it very much!

Rising through the ranks at MI6 is enough to erode anyone's ability to trust. The agents of the double-oh program all take paranoia one step further, elevating it to an art form. But everyone needs one person to trust -- even James Bond. Now, Q just has to figure out how to convince him of that.
This has the warning of light BDSM. I usually don't like bdsm fics. It's just not my kind of thing. But I'm so glad I started this one. It's Q's POV and the main focus here are the emotions, insecurities and trust issues of both of them. Exactly what I want with such a fic. It's completed and an awesome read.

Bond, Moneypenny, and Q meet after an apocalyptic event starts destroying civilisation.
This entire fic reminds me of the Scotland pieces of Skyfall (they are in Scotland for much of the fic). Cold and lonely but lovely. The characterisation is brilliant, the romance is perfect, everyone is a badass. I can't ask for anything more.

1) I don't have a proper microphone to record. Not sure how professional my computer speakers would sound.
2) I'm not from the UK, and I don't know the fandom's opinions on someone like me doing a fic with British characters. I've noticed that podfics in the BBC Sherlock fandom are all done by UK readers (at least, all the ones I've come across), and I'm not sure if this is just coincidence or protocol.

coincidence, maybe? in the HP fandom the podfics i've listened to so far have all been done by americans and people with english as their second language. it doesn't really matter where you're from - fandom will love it anyway. some people can be particular about accents, but to be honest i think that's an elitist way of thinking that only serves to exclude a big portion of fandom, and anyway those people seem to be mythical creatures because i've not come across them yet :)
